Job Description
The Engineering Manager manages a team of engineers and drives their work to deliver the product releases that are committed to the product management team on time and with the right quality. He has enough technical expertise to provide technical leadership to the team and drive their work. He sets up the processes, tools and means that engineers need to optimize their work and deliver the best code possible. He sets up and manages his team to meet their goals, contributes to products strategy and helps developing team members.
QShield (the product that your team is in charge of delivering) is a mix of several modules, based on various technologies:
In this context, you will be responsible for supporting and evolving these technological activities. The choices you make will directly impact the productivity of an highly-skilled engineering team, and have an influence on the overall Go-to-Market of the various products/features we would launch. You will also help find new talents, both for supporting the current team as well as delivering products that would require new skills.
You will also help the personal growth of your teams members, both for their soft & hard skills, making sure that they have all they need to accomplish their work properly.

All these components help to increase the security of applications and firmware/middleware to protect IP, APIs, secrets and every sensitive information used or provided by software.
